News & Events
We'd like to introduce you to 8 year old Finlay Watson, who has raced around our track a couple of times.
As you can see, Finlay brought his full racing kit on holiday to Lanzarote with him. He's a member of Saltire Motorsport Scotland and races in the cadet class of 8-13 year olds. Proud Dad told us that he regularly beats the older boys, much to their annoyance!
This year's Santa Parade in Puerto del Carmen was the biggest and best ever - we loved it!
We had this little film made to show you what it was like - enjoy!
We had an amazing day when Lanzarote's largest ever rally ran a stage at our track recently. We had over 50 cars which did a special stage of a flying lap on our long track, including 3 Porsche GT3s, a Ferrari and the WRC Mini Cooper, which was fastest of all.
Have a look at video we had made of the evening here:
The Santa Parade, organised by The Lanzarote Business and Resident's Association is on again this year!
It's starting at The Tourist Information Office on The Strip (at the bottom of Calle Anzuelo) at 6PM on 19th December of December. We'll be there, with our Rolls Royce Bess, some karts and various other cars, as well as many of the team from the track. There will also batucada (drum) bands, lots of other vehicles and a DJ. Also look out for Santa is his sleigh!
It looks like Fernando Alonso rocked up to a kart track in UK for a drive, and then managed to go from last to first in three laps!
It reminded us of when current Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz raced at our track – he was pretty quick too!
Of course, it might not have been Fernando, we suppose. But anyway, he was pretty good, wasn’t he?
We're very proud to be hosting some stages of the 37th Rally Orvecame Rally at the track next month. The rally takes place over two days - the 27th and 28th November, with a spectacular night time display on the track under lights. The event starts at 9PM on Friday 27th and you'll be able to see all the cars in Parque Fermé in our car park, and then racing around the track for a special stage!
We’re often asked about options for the kids when families are visiting the track. The first thing to know is they don’t have to drive!
If they prefer not to get in a car they can:
- Play our air hockey game
- Have a game of pool
- Watch TV on our big screens
- Have something to eat and drink
- Enjoy watching the racing!
But for those who do want to drive, there are plenty of options:
For the littlest ones
